What People Are Saying…
“Loved this newsletter on storytelling to build connections, by @AnaAlexandraZ. Storytelling is not only an amazing tool to connect and teach children, but also adults. We're constantly building narratives and telling stories!”

The fact is, when we ask kids “what do you want to be when you grow up,” we hope to inspire them to dream of all they could be. But instead, we limit them to dreaming of that one thing they can become.
We do need to protect kid’s innocence, but by no means is it about exchanging an unpleasant truth with a more pleasant lie.

Do we start from scratch or transform what we have?
I want my kids to think like creators and less like users. I want them to tell stories, rather than repeat information, and create new ideas rather than emphasize existing ones.
Magic happens when you realize you can make *switches* to how you do things to become the best version you can be. Becoming the best version you can be as a parent, educator, and student is a great gift for yourself, for those around you, and for society.
